Whipped Argan Body Butters: why so expensive??

Jan 16th 2015

These heavenly bodies were meant for your heavenly body- the whole darn thing!!I looked hard for affordable Argan lotions that actually had quality ingredients. The closest thing I found was Josie Maran’s at Sephora. Then my heart sank. While Argan oil is the third ingredient, it is after aloe vera (something we can all purchase cheaply) and then has a vast list of ingredients after it, which further dilutes the precious Argan you want. Oddly, Josie Maran claims ALL of these ingredients are natu … read more

Why buy more expensive vitamins? What is the difference between “Vitamin”, ” Food Based”, and “Food State” vitamins?I found myself about to write out the same information for a new client for the 5th time this month. We went through a wide array of topical treatments that did help some, but still dealt with occasionally out of control skin. I continued to rack my brain for what we should do. I don't stop until it's gone. That's the whole "uncompromising passion" line. EffOff helped, Chally Ha! helped, SHU healing moisturizer helped.... but I knew something else was up. I had her keep a food diary so we could see if there was any … read more

Nutritionist, midwife, psychologist, counselor, teacher, lawyer (because when i little i though you could just defend poor innocent and go to sleep happy with that job). All of those jobs have been and still are heavily considered when I get up in the morning. But the thing is that I found a way to combine so many of them and use the innate skills I was given to be a true listener and emp … read more
