This blend of organic oatmeal, Himalayan salt, organic herbs and essential oils is your new facewash, your new exfoliator, and your new weekly mask treatment.

This mini-size is 1/3 the size of regular bottle coming in at an adorable 1.7 oz. The perfect amount to get to try out the revolution.

One of the most important virtues at Brazen Bee is being able to customize your facewash so that you are maximizing your daily regimen and your money. No one should have to pay for things they don't need and skin care is a tricky business, more is not always better when it comes to skin treatments.

Ingredients: Organic Oatmeal, Sea Salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, Organic Yucca Root Powder, Organic Cape Aloe Vera Powder, Organic Spirulina, Frankincense Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil

Benefits of Each Ingredient

Oats- Oats have been used for skin maladies since 2000 bc. They should not be forgotten as one of the original skin remedies. Oats contain sopanins which attach to impurities and gently remove excess oil from the skin with absolutely no drying or tightening of the skin. Colloidal oatmeal was recognized by the FDA as a skin protectant in 2003. It is one of the few herbs recognized in the United States for its natural properties. Oats 6 major components that are recognized as scientifically beneficial for skin. Avenanthramides (anti-itch, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-irritant), avenacins (sopanin and anti-fungal), flavanoids (anti-bacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory), phenolics (antioxidant), Beta-Glucan (sought after skin ingredient now because it is highly penetrative and has shown to have more ling term hydration protection than hyaluronic acid, speeds healing), lipids (work to protect the skin, antioxidant), and peptides.

Oats provide all those benefits and otherwise expensive components in one beautiful place.

Sea salt- natural detoxifier, highly effective anti-bacterial, exfoliator.

Himalayan Pink Salt- provides minerals and trace minerals in their ultimate natural form for the skin.

Yucca Root Powder- also known as "soap root." This is a wonderful natural cleanser and lathers slightly on it's own. Not only does it cleanse, it also contains a wealth of nutrition for the skin: calcium, potassium, Vitamins A, B and C, iron, copper, manganese, and phosphorus.

Cape Aloe Vera- Cape Aloe is the world's most active aloe vera with twice as many healing monosacharides and up to 3 times the amino acid content of typical aloe vera. Cape Aloe is such a wonderful skin treatment because it can be applied to the most tender and sensitive skin with amazing results. Cape Aloe grows only in the lowest region of South Africa and was not available in the United States until recently.

Spirulina- spirulina is one of the most complete forms of protein and nutrition. It is a concentrated form of vitamins, minerals, proteins and carotendoids -- a type of antioxidant. Spirulina contains vitamin E, beta-carotene, vitamin B complex, zinc, copper, iron, manganese and gamma linoleic acid.

Frankincense Oil- Frankincense made its way into Brazen Bee products the moment I heard that research was showing it kills skin cancer cells. Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers and anything that we can do as a preventative measure should be taken. I am not purporting that your facewash will prevent skin cancer in any way, but the research should be looked at and judged accordingly. Aromatherapy: spiritually grounding

Lavender Oil- Lavender is one of the most well-known skin soothers around. With a high amount of linalool, this wonderful oil is used across most skin care formulas because it simply works. It also helps to heal scars and diminish redness. Aromatherapy: soothing

Rosemary Oil- Rosemary is espoused as a treatment for ageing skin. Aromatherapy: very well known to focus the mind and clarify thoughts

ALL THREE of the above essential oils are antiseptic and antibacterial.

What do you want me to DO with this???!?!?

You're going to need some directions... calm down, change is good.

Directions: This is not soap. This is not liquid. You will get a package of wonderful smelling green powder. So now what?

There are a few differents ways for your facewash to be used, Brazen is all about a product that multi-tasks.

Daily Washing: Wet face with warm water for at least a minute. Scoop or pour out a little less than a tablespoon of EffOff into one palm. Drip a few drops of water into the pile to make a slippery paste. Rub on face, focusing on "problem" areas like the T-zone. Rinse. Done!

Weekly Deep Exfoliating: Same directions as Daily Washing, but add less to almost no water to the little pile of powder. Scrub your face in a circular motion, but please do not overdo it. We don't need to remove your face, this is just a chance to renew and rejuvenate.

Highly Recomended: your facewash is complete with herbs and nutrients that need a little time to sink in. It is recommended that you use your wash in the shower about halfway through showering. This gives your skin a chance to warm up in the humidity. Apply your wash and let it stay on your face while you wash something else and then rinse. You have completed a daily mask of nutrition!

If you are doing more of an over-the-sink faster daily wash, then be sure to use your wash as a mask for 15-20 minutes at least once a week.

I've been using this product for just over a week. Started just mixing with water in the shower and noticed right away all the dried dead skin just pealing off my face. The last couple of days I've mixed with a raw honey and cinnamon mixture witch I had been using alone. OMG! I look and feel like I have brand new skin.
